The Delhi government will mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday on 17 September 2025 by starting 75 distinct schemes and works. The launches will be held as part of a Seva Pakhwada, an activity drive that includes project inaugurations and tenders.
Education actions include the PM Shri School initiative. Health initiatives feature 101 Ayurvedic Arogya Mandirs. In hospitals, new blocks will be commissioned at five facilities. A polyclinic at Nand Nagri is planned to open during the drive.
Officials also flagged development works valued at over ₹100 crore that are ready to move. Departments involved include Delhi Development Authority and Public Works, which have lined up multiple packages for quick rollout during the fortnight.
The programme will begin with formal events in the city on 17 September and then spread across locations through the fortnight. The focus areas are education, health, roads and civic services, with separate events planned for each sector.
More launches are scheduled to follow within days, with authorities stating that work on at least 13 additional projects will begin soon after. Detailed schedules are to be issued by the concerned departments as venues are finalised.
