In a landmark decision, TVS Motor Company has announced that Mr. Sudarshan Venu will assume the role of Chairman and Managing Director of the company, effective August 25, 2025. This elevation comes in recognition of his instrumental contributions to the company’s growth and strategic expansion during his tenure as Director.
A Generational Leadership Shift as Sir Ralf Speth Steps Down
The announcement was made after current Chairman, Sir Ralf Speth, informed the Board that he would not seek reappointment as Director at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). He will step down from the role of Chairman at the close of the AGM on August 22, 2025. To ensure continuity, the Board has appointed Sir Ralf Speth as the Chief Mentor of the company for a three-year term beginning August 23, 2025.
