Admissions Open for 2025–26 Academic Session Under Non-Plan Quota; Online Application Available Until June
The Directorate of Education has officially started the application process for Class 11 admissions under the Non-Plan category in Delhi government schools for the academic year 2025–26.
Interested students can apply through the department’s official website until June, following which a list of selected students will be published on June 19. The document verification process is scheduled to take place between June 20 and June 30.
Eligibility and Schedule Guidelines Issued by the Directorate
Only Students from Government and Aided Schools Who Passed Class 10 in 2024–25 Eligible to Apply
The Directorate has also released detailed eligibility criteria and the admission schedule. According to the guidelines, only those students who have passed Class 10 during the academic year 2024–25 from government or government-aided schools are eligible to apply.
Students from private or unaffiliated institutions are not eligible for this admission round.
Merit-Based Relaxations Offered for EWS, OBC, Sports, and SC/ST Categories
Up to 5% Concession in Cut-off for Reserved Category and Sports Quota Applicants
Students applying under EWS (Economically Weaker Section), OBC, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and sports quota are eligible for up to 5% relaxation in the merit cut-off. This includes those who have achieved first, second, or third place at the national level in sports, or hold certified merit in Olympiads or national competitions.
