On Friday evening, a strong storm hit JP Aman Society located in Noida-151. The storm exposed the poor construction quality of the apartments.
🚪 Doors and Windows Flew Off in Over 40 Flats
Due to the strong wind, doors and windows of more than 40 flats were either blown inside the rooms or fell down in the society premises. The society’s convenience store structure was also blown away.
🚗 Cars and AC Units Damaged
Several cars were damaged. Even the AC outdoor units from many flats fell down. Residents faced big financial losses due to this damage.
😨 Fear Among Residents Over Poor Construction Quality
Residents questioned the poor material and weak construction. They are now scared for their safety if such weak quality continues.
🧱 Over 3,500 Families Live Here, Complaints Raised Before Too
More than 3,500 families live in JP Aman Society. Residents have raised concerns about poor construction before as well. But this storm made the situation worse and more visible.
🔨 Plaster Had Fallen Earlier Too
In the past, many incidents of falling plaster were reported. Now, damage in over 40 homes has made residents raise strong questions. People have demanded compensation from the management.
🏚️ No Injuries, But Major Loss
During the storm, people were inside their homes or towers. Luckily, no one was hurt from the falling doors or windows. Even the Mother Dairy booth inside the society was blown away by the wind.
