Steelbird’s Impressive Helmet Sales 📈
Steelbird, a legendary helmet company in India, has just released its sales figures for the financial year 2024-25. This year, Steelbird sold a whopping 87 lakh helmets, compared to 80 lakh last year. This achievement makes Steelbird not just the largest helmet manufacturer in India, but also in the world. 🌍
Record-Breaking Revenue 💰
The sales report reveals that Steelbird earned a revenue of ₹ 787 crore in FY25, which is 10.07% higher than the previous year. With such growth, the company is aiming even higher, targeting sales of over 1 crore helmets in FY 2025-26 and a revenue of ₹ 900 crore.
Innovative Manufacturing Processes ⚙️
Steelbird’s success can be attributed to its innovative manufacturing strategies. The company has enhanced its production capacity to 50,000 helmets per day, thanks to advanced technology like a robotic vizor system and an automated paint shop. Additionally, Steelbird is planning to open a new plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, to cater to the southern market.
Exciting New Products 🎉
In FY 2024-25, Steelbird launched new helmets featuring Bluetooth, improved ventilation, and lightweight materials for better safety. They also introduced rider accessories such as gloves, goggles, and rain gear, aiming to become a complete lifestyle brand for riders.
Future Goals 🎯
Steelbird currently has over 200 exclusive ‘rider shops’ across India and plans to expand this number to 1,000 in the coming years. The company’s long-term goal is to sell 1.5 crore helmets annually by FY 2026-27 and achieve a business turnover of ₹ 1,300 crore.
