Isuzu Motors has reported impressive growth in its commercial vehicle sales for FY 2025. The company saw a significant increase of 24% in its exports, reaching a total of 20,312 units. This is a big jump from the previous year’s figure of 16,329 units, making Isuzu the top exporter of commercial vehicles in India during this period.
Pick-Up Trucks Leading the Way 🚚
The pick-up truck segment is driving Isuzu’s success globally. The company has chosen India as a key hub for both domestic and international markets. Isuzu manufactures vehicles at its plant in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, which is capable of producing both left-hand and right-hand drive models. These vehicles are exported to various countries in Asia and the Middle East, including Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, and more.

Toru Kishimoto, Deputy Managing Director of Isuzu Motors India, highlighted that the rising global demand for Isuzu vehicles made in India showcases their quality and reliability. He mentioned that the export numbers have been growing consistently due to their wide range of vehicles that meet international standards.
Milestones and Future Plans 🏭✨
The Sri City plant, which started operations in 2016, recently celebrated a major achievement by producing its 100,000th vehicle. The company is also expanding its operations by adding an assembly plant and enhancing its service network. Rajesh Mittal, President and Managing Director of Isuzu Motors, emphasized that all vehicles produced in India meet global standards, designed to satisfy customers both locally and internationally.
