Recently, the Kia Syros received a remarkable 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP. This makes it the first vehicle from Kia India to achieve such a high rating in the Indian market. Safety Features That Matter 🛡️
The Kia Syros scored an impressive 30.21 points out of 32 in Adult Occupant Protection and 44.42 points out of 49 in Child Occupant Protection. With over 16 autonomous safety technology features and a high-tech driver assistance system (ADAS Level 2), the Syros ensures maximum safety for its passengers. It also comes with a robust safety package that includes 20 standard active and passive safety features.
Why Others Didn’t Get 5 Stars ❓
Cars like Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, and Nissan Magnite did not receive 5-star ratings because their companies did not send them for testing at Bharat NCAP. Safety ratings depend on the models that manufacturers choose to submit for evaluation.
Safety Features in Competitors 🚧
While the Brezza has a 4-star rating from global tests, it lacks a rating from Bharat NCAP. It includes features like 6 airbags and electronic stability programs. The Kia Sonet and Nissan Magnite also offer several safety features, including 6 airbags and ISOFIX child seat mounts. However, none of these cars have been rated by Bharat NCAP yet.
