Maruti Suzuki’s Price Hike Shakes the Market 🚗💰
Kia India has joined Maruti Suzuki in announcing a price increase for its cars. On Tuesday, the South Korean auto company revealed that starting from April 2025, all Kia models will see a price hike of up to 3%. This news has certainly caught the attention of many customers.
Why the Price Increase? 📈
Kia India explained that the rise in prices is due to increased costs of raw materials and supply chain issues. As these costs have gone up, the company felt it was necessary to adjust their prices accordingly. This means that if you plan to buy a Kia car next month, it will cost you more than it does today.
Kia’s Commitment to Quality 🚙✨
Despite the price increase, Kia’s Senior Vice President, Hardeep Singh Brar, reassured customers that the brand is dedicated to providing high-quality vehicles at competitive prices. He mentioned that they strive to offer the best to their customers, but the rising costs have left them with no choice but to increase prices.
Kia’s Popular Models and Sales 📊
Kia India has made a mark in the automotive industry, selling approximately 14.5 lakh units in both domestic and international markets. Some of their best-selling models include the Kia Seltos, which has sold around 6.90 lakh units, followed by the Kia Sonet with 5 lakh units, and the Carens with 2.32 lakh units. The Kia Carnival has also seen sales of 15,000 units.
With these changes, customers will need to consider their options carefully before making a purchase.
