Holi 2025: Special Trains from Delhi to Bihar, Including Vande Bharat, to Manage Increased Passenger Demand During Festival Season

The Indian Railways is set to run 15 special trains, including a Vande Bharat service, to accommodate the increased passenger traffic during the Holi festival. These trains will operate between various stations in Delhi and Bihar.

Vande Bharat Special Train

The New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Special (02436-02435) will depart from New Delhi at 08:30 AM, except on Mondays, from March 8 to March 20. It will arrive in Patna at 10:30 PM on the same day. For the return journey, the train will leave Patna at 05:30 AM from March 9 to March 21, except on Tuesdays, and will reach New Delhi at 08:10 PM on the same day.

Superfast Festival Special Trains

The Delhi-Patna Superfast Festival Special (04062-04061) will run daily from Delhi at 11:55 PM between March 7 and March 17, arriving in Patna at 04:40 PM the next day. The return service will depart from Patna at 05:50 PM from March 7 to March 18, reaching Delhi at 10:25 PM the following day.

Additional Services

Another train, the Anand Vihar-Rajgir Superfast Festival Special (04070-04069), will leave Anand Vihar at 00:20 PM on March 7, 11, 14, and 18, arriving in Rajgir at 07:50 PM the same day. The return train will depart Rajgir at 11:30 PM on the same dates and reach Anand Vihar at 07:00 PM the next day.
