The Ghaziabad city corporation has announced that house tax will be imposed on 15,000 flats across various societies. Bills for the tax will be issued after the tax determination process is completed. New taxpayers will need to pay house tax based on the DM Circle Rate. So far, house tax has been imposed on a total of 250,000 flats in the city.
Details of Tax Imposition in Societies

House tax will also apply to flats in Mohannagar, Vaishali, Vasundhara, and other areas.
Focus on Big Defaulters
The corporation is stepping up its efforts to collect house tax. A list of significant defaulters has been created, and properties belonging to those who do not pay their dues may be sealed. Municipal Commissioner Vikramaditya Singh Malik has emphasized the need for strict action against those neglecting their tax responsibilities.
Campaign for Tax Recovery
To facilitate tax recovery, Additional Municipal Commissioner Avnindra Kumar has instructed a campaign to run over the next two months, particularly in February and March. The aim is to expedite house tax collection and ensure that new properties are also taxed appropriately.
