Delhi Transport Corporation Launches Early Bus Services for Polling Day

The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) is all set to start bus services earlier than usual on February 5, in light of the upcoming polling day in the city. Buses will begin operations at 4:00 AM, aimed at helping voters, polling staff, and other officials involved in the electoral process.

This initiative will cover 35 routes, ensuring that individuals can reach their polling booths and related activities without any hassle. The DTC has already started assigning duties to drivers and conductors to prepare for the day.

Special Arrangements for Voters

To further facilitate voters, special arrangements have been made for routes connecting Delhi to bordering states and areas with a high number of commuters. This includes routes near state boundaries, allowing voters to travel early and return to work promptly after casting their votes.

• Azadpur Metro Station to Kashmere Gate ISBT
• Anand Vihar ISBT to New Delhi Railway Station
• Badarpur Border to Mori Gate Terminal
• Jahangirpuri E-Block to Nizamuddin Railway Station
• Lajpat Nagar Border to Azadpur Metro Station
• Majnu Ka Tilla to Shivaji Stadium
• Noida Sector-34 to Kashmere Gate
• Aya Nagar to Badarpur Border
• Lodhi Road to New Delhi Railway Station

Additionally, early services will also be available on routes connecting Mayur Vihar, Punjabi Bagh, Tikri Border, and several others, ensuring smooth transportation on polling day.
