While the XUV 400 is a derivative of the then Mahindra XUV 300, the upcoming Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6e will be the first of the company’s native EV models. This means that both models will underpin the company’s electric-origin INGLO architecture. The company has released a few teasers, giving a glimpse of what the upcoming EVs from Mahindra’s stable will look like.

Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6e: Design

Mahindra’s upcoming electric cars are based on a new platform dedicated to EVs. The two electric SUVs will have a futuristic look with sharp elements. The XEV 9e will feature LED lightbars connected to a vertical light system at the front, while the BE 6e will showcase a design inspired by the XUV 3XO. The XEV 9e boasts a closed grille and a sweeping bonnet adorned with the new Mahindra EV logo.

The latest teaser reveals a modern dashboard layout. The BE 6e will have a dual-screen setup, while the XEV 9e features three screens, including one for front-seat passengers. Both models include a panoramic sunroof, square steering wheel with haptic buttons, and advanced ADAS features.

Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6e: Expected Features

The Mahindra XEV 9e will utilize the INGLO platform, equipped with a 60-80 kWh battery and up to 175 kW fast charging, promising a range of around 500 km. The BE 6e, with a sportier coupe roofline, is expected to offer a similar battery range and pricing that will be competitive in the market.
