New 2025 Maruti Dezire Set to Launch Tomorrow

The fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Dezire is generating excitement ahead of its launch on November 11, 2024. Notably, it has achieved a remarkable 5-star Global NCAP safety rating, becoming the first model from Maruti Suzuki to do so.

Model Variants and Features

The compact sedan will be available in four trims: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi Plus. It features significant design updates and will be equipped with the Swift’s Z-series petrol engine, while retaining the current generation’s transmission.

Price Expectations

The base variant of the current Dezire starts at Rs 6.56 lakh, with the top variant priced at Rs 9.39 lakh. The new Dezire is expected to maintain a similar pricing structure, with the fully loaded variant anticipated to be around Rs 10 lakh.

Engine Specifications

Powered by a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder Z-series petrol engine, the new Dezire delivers 82PS and 112Nm of torque. A CNG variant will also be available, generating 70PS and 102Nm. Fuel efficiency figures are impressive, with the petrol versions offering up to 25.71 km/l and the CNG variant achieving 33.73 km/kg.

Interior and Safety Features

The interior resembles that of the Swift, featuring a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and premium sound options. All variants come equipped with essential safety features including six airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors, ensuring peace of mind for drivers and passengers alike.
