Mahindra BE 6e and XEV 9e: Global Debut

Mahindra has announced that deliveries for the BE 6e and XEV 9e will commence in the fourth quarter of FY2025. These new models will compete against both new and established electric SUVs like the MG ZS EV, BYD Atto 3, and Tata Curvv EV. This competitive quarter will also witness the launch of new players including the Hyundai Creta EV and Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara.

Mahindra BE 6e and XEV 9e: Expected Features

The XEV 9e will be built on Mahindra’s innovative INGLO platform, specially designed for electric vehicles, and is expected to offer a battery capacity between 60-80 kWh. With fast charging capabilities of up to 175 kW, it aims for a range of around 500 km on a single charge. The sportier BE 6e variant is anticipated to feature a coupe roofline and a similar battery capacity, delivering approximately 450-500 km per charge.
