2025 Triumph Speed 400 to Continue with Brushed-Aluminum Exhaust

Triumph has announced a change for the 2025 Speed 400, opting for a brushed aluminum exhaust instead of the previously planned blacked-out version. This decision comes after customer feedback, aiming to enhance the motorcycle’s premium feel. The brushed finish complements other high-quality components, such as the gold-finished USD front fork and Vredestien Centauro radial tires, creating a more distinctive appearance compared to the Speed T4.

Speed T4 Comparison

The blacked-out exhaust was initially shared with the new Triumph Speed T4, which offers a more affordable alternative to the Speed 400. The Speed T4 features cost-effective components, including telescopic forks and MRF tires, with steel parts replacing aluminum in various areas.

Specifications of the 2025 Triumph Speed 400

Under the hood, the Speed 400 is powered by a 398 cc TR-series single-cylinder engine, delivering 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm of torque. It boasts a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. In contrast, the Speed T4’s engine is tuned for a lower power output of 30.6 bhp but offers more torque. The Speed 400 is priced at ₹2.40 lakh (ex-showroom), making it ₹23,000 more expensive than the Speed T4.
