This new engine delivers an output of 82 PS with a peak torque of 112 Nm, replacing the previous 4-cylinder K-Series unit. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed AMT, ensuring a balanced mix of performance and efficiency.
According to the company, the petrol MT variant of the new Dzire is expected to deliver an impressive mileage of around 24.8 kmpl, while the petrol AMT variant may go up to 25.75 kmpl. Maruti Suzuki is also likely to introduce a CNG variant to cater to fuel-conscious customers.
