Tata Motors has officially launched the updated Tata Punch, starting at Rs. 6.12 lakh (ex-showroom). This micro SUV has already claimed the title of India’s best-selling passenger vehicle this financial year, recently surpassing the four lakh sales milestone—the fastest-ever SUV to achieve this.

New Features and Upgrades

The 2024 model introduces a segment-first 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Additional enhancements include rear air conditioning vents, a new ‘grand console’ with armrests, and an affordable sunroof option in the Adventure Persona grade.

Powertrain and Variants

The Tata Punch retains its 1.2L NA petrol engine, available with either a five-speed manual or an AMT option, along with a CNG variant. The updated lineup is now available for booking at authorized dealerships, with a promotional benefit of Rs. 18,000 for a limited time.

Future Prospects

Tata Motors is also gearing up to launch the CNG-spec Nexon and three new electric vehicles—Harrier EV, Sierra EV, and Avinia—further solidifying its commitment to innovation in the automotive industry.
