BMW Launches 2024 F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure Models

Vikram Pawah, president and CEO of BMW Group India, described the new models as “perfect enduros” designed for adventure and off-road riding. He insists that both motorcycles combine great off-road capabilities with touring features, taking BMW’s famous GS to the fore. Both these bikes will be available on the CBU route.

Engine Specs

Both the F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure use an 895 cc, two-cylinder, inline engine, producing 103 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 93 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm. This is an upgrade from the previous model, which delivered 85 bhp and 91 Nm.

Design Enhancements

The new models feature redesigned tank side panels and a slimmer fuel tank for improved ergonomics during off-road riding. The F 900 GS includes a 15mm higher handlebar and a 14 kg weight reduction, enhancing comfort and control.

Advanced Features

Equipped with a 6.5-inch TFT touchscreen, the bikes offer navigation and music access. Safety features include dynamic traction control, cornering-optimized ABS Pro, and an optional “Riding Mode Pro.”

Color Options and Pricing

The F 900 GS is available in Sao Paulo Yellow and sporty GS Trophy variants, while the Adventure comes in Black Storm Metallic. Prices start at ₹13.75 lakh for the F 900 GS and ₹14.75 lakh for the Adventure.
