Honda Cars India has announced attractive discounts on its vehicles this September, with the Honda Amaze sedan getting some of the best benefits. As part of a stock clearance offer, the company is offering benefits worth up to ₹1.12 lakh on the Amaze.
This is the biggest discount ever in the 10-year history of the Amaze. Additionally, customers can also avail a free service maintenance package for 3 years or 30,000 kilometers.
It’s important to note that the Amaze was Honda’s best-selling car in August, with 2,585 units sold. The starting ex-showroom price of the Amaze is ₹7.20 lakh.
Key Features of the Upcoming New Honda Amaze
Honda is gearing up to launch a new version of the Amaze soon. The upcoming model has been spotted with a design similar to the Honda City, especially in terms of smoky-finish stacked tail lights. Some key features expected in the new Amaze include:
- Three headrests for rear passengers (which are not available in the current model).
- Reverse camera and shark-fin antenna.
- Upgraded dashboard and a larger free-standing infotainment system.
- Rear AC vents, leatherette upholstery, and front armrest.
In terms of the engine, the updated Amaze may feature a 1.2-liter or 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine similar to the Honda City or Elevate. Transmission options may include manual and CVT.
There is also speculation that Honda may introduce a hybrid version of the Amaze. The expected pricing of the new Amaze will likely be higher than the current model, which starts at ₹7.92 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Amaze could be launched either by the end of this year or in early 2025.
