The company introduced the S+ and S(O)+ variants with prices starting at ₹7.86 lakh and ₹8.44 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. This move has made the sunroof feature more budget-friendly, reducing the manual variant price by ₹37,000 and the AMT variant by ₹46,000. The Hyundai Exter is priced between ₹6 lakh to ₹10.43 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.

 

Engine and Transmission Options

The Hyundai Exter is powered by a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, which is available in both automatic and manual transmissions:

  • S+ variant: Available with automatic transmission.
  • S(O)+ variant: Available with manual transmission.

 

This micro SUV competes with popular models like the Maruti Ignis, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Citroen C3, and Maruti Fronx in its segment.

One of the standout features of the Hyundai Exter is its smart electric sunroof with voice command, making it the first micro SUV in its segment to offer such technology. Additional features include:
