The new Hyundai Alcazar has been in testing for a while, and now it’s almost ready for launch. This three-row SUV will hit the market on September 9. Exciting updates are on the way, including some cosmetic changes and new features, while the engine will remain the same as before.
What’s New in the Design? 🎨
The updated Hyundai Alcazar will showcase a fresh look. Expect to see a new grille, a stylish bumper, and attractive alloy wheels. The side cladding and tailgate will also be completely redesigned, along with new taillights. These changes will give the SUV a modern and appealing exterior.
Enhanced Interior Features 🛋️
Inside the Alcazar, you will find a large touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. The SUV will still come in both 6 and 7-seater layouts, making it perfect for families or groups.
Powerful Engine Options ⚙️
The Hyundai Alcazar Facelift will offer two engine choices. The first is a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine that produces 160bhp and 253Nm of torque. The second option is a 1.5-liter diesel engine with 116bhp and 250Nm of torque. You can choose from three types of gearboxes: a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic for the diesel model, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic for the petrol version.
Safety Features Galore! 🛡️
Safety is a top priority, and the Alcazar will come with 36 standard safety features, similar to the Creta. This includes 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and all-wheel disc brakes. Additional safety features like ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat mounts will also be included.
Strong Competition Ahead! 🥊
The Hyundai Alcazar facelift will compete fiercely with the Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus in the domestic market. While it boasts stylish updates, it is expected to maintain its mechanical features.
