Happy travel Card Haryana: Haryana’s transportation department is making it easier for rural residents to take advantage of the Happy Card program. Commuters in Sohna, Pataudi, and Farrukhnagar in Gurugram district can now apply for and receive their Happy Cards directly at their local bus stands.

What is the Happy Card?

The Happy Card initiative was launched in March 2024 to provide beneficiaries with a smart card linked to an e-ticketing system, allowing for 1,000 kilometers of free travel on Haryana Roadways buses annually.

Making it Easier for Everyone

  • Dedicated teams: To make the program more accessible, dedicated teams have been deployed to sub-divisional bus stands to assist with applications and card issuance.
  • Photo ID requirement: To prevent misuse, passengers must now carry a photo ID along with their Happy Card while traveling.
