The Delhi High Court has directed the Vice Chairman of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to clear all encroachments and illegal constructions from the banks, bed, and drains falling into the Yamuna River.

Hearing on Shahinbagh Petition
The directive came during the hearing of a petition seeking the demolition of unauthorized constructions near the Yamuna bank close to Shaheenbagh. The bench, comprising Acting Chief Justice Manmohan and Justice Tushar Rao Della, passed this order.
