The Meteorological Department has issued an Orange Alert, warning of potential traffic jams and waterlogging due to the intense showers. Additionally, there are warnings about possible damage to weak structures caused by strong winds.
Weather Forecast: Thunderstorms and High Winds –
According to the weather department, heavy rainfall accompanied by loud thunder and wind speeds ranging from 30 to 40 kilometers per hour is expected on Monday and Tuesday. Residents are advised to check traffic conditions before venturing out and to avoid areas prone to waterlogging.

Temperature Drop Expected –
Delhi experienced a day of humidity and heat on Sunday, with light cloud movements throughout the day. The maximum temperature recorded at Safdarjung Observatory was 37.1 degrees Celsius, which is considered normal. The minimum temperature was 27 degrees Celsius, one degree below the average.
Humidity levels ranged from 97% to 60%. The weather department predicts that the heavy rains over the next three days could lead to a drop of up to four degrees Celsius in Delhi’s maximum temperature.
