Two more corridors—Inderlok to Indraprastha and Saket G Block to Lajpat Nagar—have recently received approval. The process for land acquisition and other necessary approvals has already commenced. These corridors are expected to be operational by 2026.
Expansion Details
DMRC officials assert that by 2026, three new corridors stretching 65 kilometers will be available for passenger use. The work on Phase 4 began in December 2019 but faced delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the slow pace of permissions for tree cutting from 2020 to 2022.
