Terminal 1 at Delhi Airport will remain closed until investigations are completed. Sources indicate this could take approximately two months. Due to this, 20 flights were canceled on Sunday. Both police and a technical committee formed by DIAL are investigating the incident.
The fallen structure will be examined by the FSL to determine why the canopy section collapsed. Initially, there were plans to quickly remove debris and resume operations, but now the timeline is uncertain.
SpiceJet Flights Moved to Terminal 3
SpiceJet has informed passengers that all flights scheduled from Terminal 1 between July 1 and 7 have been relocated to Terminal 3. Notifications have been sent to passengers via messages and emails.
