As the monsoon season arrives in India, the heavy rains significantly impact railway services, causing waterlogging on tracks and disrupting train movements. Anticipating these challenges, Konkan Railway has made an important announcement regarding the operation of certain trains.

According to a Lokmat News report, the Vande Bharat Express and Tejas Express running on the Konkan Railway line will operate only three days a week from June 10, 2024, until the end of October. This decision aims to mitigate the disruptions caused by the monsoon.
