Vivo Invests ₹3,955 Crore
According to information from the Yamuna Development Authority, the Vivo facility has been established with an investment of ₹3,955 crore. Spread over 169 acres, this company initially planned to employ 15,000 people. However, Vivo has now committed to providing jobs for 25,000 individuals, with a special focus on hiring women.
Grand Opening Alongside Noida International Airport
The inauguration of the Noida International Airport in Jewar will be a day of double celebrations for the residents of Gautam Buddha Nagar. On the same day, 250 companies will also have their grand openings in the Yamuna Authority area, creating job opportunities for approximately 250,000 people. This simultaneous launch is set to significantly boost the region’s development.
Final Phase of Jewar Airport Construction
Dr. Arunveer Singh, CEO of the Yamuna Development Authority, has shared that the construction of Noida Airport in Jewar is progressing rapidly. Flights are expected to begin by October 2024. The first phase of the airport’s development is nearing completion, and the opening of 250 companies and factories alongside the airport is anticipated to mark a historic moment in the region’s growth.
