The weather in Delhi-NCR underwent a sudden change on Tuesday evening. Darkness fell around 5:30 PM, accompanied by strong winds that led to a drop in temperature. There was light rainfall in Noida, Greater Noida, and Gurugram.
Clouds were also reported over various parts of Delhi, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad. The Meteorological Department predicts that these areas might experience light rain in the next few hours.
Weather Alert Issued
Today, the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 37.6°C and the minimum at 22.6°C. In the evening, temperatures dropped by two to five degrees in different areas. According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in Rohtak, Meerut, Modinagar, and Bagpat in the NCR.
Winds Reaching Speeds of 70 km/h
The Meteorological Department reported that winds are blowing at speeds ranging from 40 to 70 kilometers per hour in various parts of the NCR. Light rain is also expected in different areas of Delhi such as Narela, Bawana, Alipur, Burari, Kanjhawala, Rohini, Badli, Model Town, and others.
