The repair work for the MP2 Elevated Road in Noida is set to begin from Sunday, leading to alterations in traffic routes. One of the lanes will be completely closed for vehicular traffic during this period. Vehicles will be diverted beneath the elevated road, stretching from Sector-28, opposite Vishwa Bharati School, to Sector-61, in front of the Uflex Company.
Officials have stated that the repair work will be carried out in phases. The elevated road has begun to show signs of wear, causing inconvenience to motorists. To address this, maintenance work is being undertaken. Authorities explained that the road surface will be scraped off, and a new layer of bitumen will be laid. The entire maintenance process is expected to take about three months. Consequently, traffic jams may occur on the lower roads during this period.

In the first phase, the repair work will be carried out from Sector-28, near Vishwa Bharati School, to Sector-24, NTPC. During this phase, vehicles coming from Sector-18 will not be able to access the elevated road. Instead, they will be directed beneath the elevated road up to Sector-24, NTPC underpass. After that, vehicles can ascend onto the elevated road and proceed towards Sector-61.
