Dehradun, Mussoorie: The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast predicting four days of rain and snowfall in Uttarakhand starting Sunday. With the fresh snowfall, regions susceptible to avalanches have been advised to exercise caution. The districts of Chamoli, Uttarkashi, and Pithoragarh, in particular, have been put on high alert.
According to Bikram Singh, the Director of the Meteorological Center in Dehradun, there is a likelihood of rain and snowfall in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh starting Sunday. This weather condition raises concerns for possible avalanches in these areas, prompting the local administration to take precautionary measures to ensure the safety of the residents and travelers.

मौसम विभाग ने रविवार से उत्तराखंड में चार दिन बारिश- बर्फबारी का पूर्वानुमान जारी किया है। साथ ही, ताजा बर्फबारी से हिमस्खलन संभावित क्षेत्रों में सतर्कता बरतने की भी सलाह दी है। खासतौर पर चमोली, उत्तरकाशी और पिथौरागढ़ जिला प्रशासन को अलर्ट कर दिया गया है। देहरादून मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र के निदेशक बिक्रम सिंह के मुताबिक, उत्तरकाशी, रुद्रप्रयाग, चमोली, बागेश्वर और पिथौरागढ़ में रविवार से बारिश, बर्फबारी की संभावना है।
