  2. Improved Connectivity: The corridor will pass through key areas, including Ghaziabad, Greater Noida West, Surajpur, Ecotech, Kasna, Dankaur, and sectors under the Yamuna Authority, directly linking them to the Noida International Airport.
  3. Phased Development and Budget: The corridor, to be constructed in two phases, is estimated to cost over Rs 15,000 crore. The elevated corridor is expected to be completed by 2030.
  4. Funding Structure: The project will be jointly financed, with 20% funding from the Central Government, 50% from the State Government, and the remaining 30% by the Authority.
  5. Benefits of Rapid Rail: Once operational, the rapid rail will provide efficient transportation for Ghaziabad and Greater Noida sectors, connecting most sectors to the Noida International Airport.
  6. Integration with Other Transport Services: The project includes plans to connect the Aqua Metro and Rapid Rail at Pari Chowk, which will be beneficial. It will also facilitate travel from Noida International Airport to IGI Airport in Delhi via Ghaziabad and Sarai Kale Khan.
  7. Anticipated Passenger Demand: The approval for this route was given considering the high passenger volume expected on this route.
  8. Electric Bus Service: Alongside the rapid rail, an electric bus service will be launched. Around 100 electric buses will operate between Noida International Airport and various sectors in Noida and Ghaziabad. The NCRTC will provide the buses, and the Authority will bear the operational costs.
