Meta Introduces Facebook Stories API for Third-Party Apps
New Delhi, Nov 3 (@DelhiBreakings.com) ★Meta has recently launched the Facebook Stories API, allowing developers, creators, and brands to create and share Facebook Stories directly from third-party desktop or web applications. This new API aims to eliminate the inconvenience of users previously using third-party platforms and later uploading their Stories on Facebook.
Seamless Story Sharing
Meta stated in a blog post, “Starting this week, we are releasing the Facebook Stories API that allows developers, creators, and brands to use the desktop or web-based application of their choice to create and publish their Stories to publicly available Facebook Pages.” With this API, users can easily share their Stories directly from their preferred third-party platform.
Additionally, Meta mentioned that applications will not need to go through additional App Review, as long as they have already been approved for the appropriate permission access levels.
Meta Introduces Paid Subscription Option
In other news, Meta has introduced a new paid subscription option for users in the EU, EEA, and Switzerland. This subscription will remove ads from both Facebook and Instagram. The service will be available next month, with a monthly fee of approximately 9.99 euros on the web and 12.99 euros on iOS and Android.
To comply with evolving European regulations, Meta will give users in these regions the choice to either continue using Facebook and Instagram for free with ads or subscribe to the paid option to enjoy an ad-free experience.
