Don’t ignore red rashes caused by pollution in Delhi; it may increase disease risks.

New Delhi. The air quality of the country’s capital Delhi has suddenly reached a very poor condition. Pollution in Delhi-NCR can affect people’s health. Bad air can cause skin allergies and red rashes on the body. This is called psoriasis disease, in which skin cells form rashes and itchy, dry scales.

There are many reasons behind the occurrence of this disease, in which pollution is also a big factor. Pollution has a direct relation with this disease. This is an autoimmune disease. If a person is suffering from this then pollution can increase the problem. If the patient suffering from this does not get proper treatment on time, then he remains at risk of heart attack or brain stroke.

On the occasion of World Psoriasis Day, a program regarding this was organized in AIIMS. During this, experts told that even after knowing about the disease, patients do not come for treatment quickly. Dr. Kaushal Verma, Dean of AIIMS and Head of the Department of Dermatology, said that about one crore people in the country have this disease. It can happen in any part of the body. If it is not treated on time, it spreads in the body and affects vital organs. This disease can occur at any age, but this problem is seen more in people between 20 to 30 years of age and above 50 years of age.
