A flight from Israel brought 286 civilians to Delhi, including 18 Nepalese from the conflict area.

After the horrific attack by Hamas, 286 more civilians have been evacuated from the war environment of Israel and brought to New Delhi under the famous “Operation Ajay” of the Government of India. This also includes 18 citizens of Nepal.

Special Welcome by Minister L Murugan

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L Murugan has welcomed all these citizens at the airport. All of them have been brought home by special chartered plane as part of the operation. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said that 286 passengers, including 18 Nepali citizens, have arrived in the fifth flight under Operation Ajay.
