Railway Minister Asserts Completion of Rescue Efforts

The Railway Minister claimed via a tweet that extraction and rescue efforts have been completed, with all coaches inspected. He mentioned that passengers will soon be transferred to a special train for onward journeys.

Rapid Response from Local Administration

Buxar’s SP informed that train number 2506, the North East Express, had derailed, with district administration and police teams dispatched to the site. Local police, present at stations near the accident, are engaged in relief and rescue efforts. More than ten ambulances have been sent from Buxar, along with a significant police force.
