Temperature in Delhi Rises by Eight Degrees in Four Days

The temperature in the capital Delhi has increased by eight degrees in the last four days. Due to lack of good rain and strong sunlight throughout the day, people are facing heat and humidity.

The maximum temperature at Delhi’s Standard Observatory Safdarjung on Wednesday was two degrees above normal. There was strong sunshine in most parts of Delhi on Wednesday as the day progressed, which led to a rapid increase in the maximum temperature.

Cloudy Skies and Possibility of Rain in Delhi

According to the report of Delhi Standard Observatory Safdarjung, the sky will be cloudy in the country’s capital Delhi on Thursday with a possibility of light rain. The minimum temperature is expected to be 26 degrees on Thursday, while the maximum temperature can reach 35 degrees Celsius. This means that the people of Delhi have no hope of respite from the heat and humidity. There is a possibility of rain and thunder in Delhi for the next five days until 19th September. Meanwhile, the clouds will keep rising and moving in the sky. For the next five days, the maximum temperature is expected to be between 33 to 36 degrees and the minimum temperature is expected to be between 25 to 27 degrees Celsius.

Although drizzle was recorded during the day at a center like the Ridge, it did not make much difference to the maximum temperature. The day’s maximum temperature was recorded at Delhi’s Standard Observatory Safdarganj at 36.1 degrees Celsius, which is two degrees more than normal. The humidity level ranged from 93 to 63 percent.

Clean Air in Delhi

Due to weather factors, Delhi’s air remains consistently clean. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the average air quality index of Delhi stood at 106 on Wednesday, which falls within the moderate category. The air quality level is expected to remain around this during the next two days.
