IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi campus
IIT Delhi has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge to establish an international campus in Abu Dhabi. Here are some key details about the IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi campus:
- The courses offered at the campus have not been announced yet, but degree programs will commence from 2024.
- The focus areas of the courses at the IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi campus will include energy & sustainability, artificial intelligence, computer science & engineering, healthcare, mathematics & computing, and other disciplines of engineering, sciences, & humanities.
Both campuses have a similar goal of contributing to global educational excellence. The IIT Madras Zanzibar campus aims to provide quality engineering and science education to students in Tanzania and nearby African countries. Similarly, the IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi campus will cater to local students and also attract individuals of Indian origin residing in Abu Dhabi.
