SBI Customers Alert: Changes in Locker Rules
- SBI has asked all bank locker customers to sign a new contact for their lockers
- RBI has instructed all banks to ensure that 50% of locker holders sign the new contracts by June 30
- By September 30, 75% of locker holders should sign the customer agreement, and by December 31, 100% should sign
- RBI has also instructed banks to update the information on their efficient portal
Locker Charges in SBI Bank
The locker charge in SBI Bank is determined based on the size and location of the locker:

| Small | Rs 2,000 + GST | Rs 1,500 + GST |
| Medium | Rs 4,000 + GST | Rs 3,000 + GST |
| Large | Rs 8,000 + GST | Rs 6,000 + GST |
Note: These charges are in addition to the registration charge of Rs 500 (for small and medium lockers) or Rs 1,000 (for large lockers) plus GST.
