The incident occurred after the Vande Bharat Express had struck and killed the six goats while they were grazing near the railway track on July 9. According to Raj Karan Nayyar, the Ayodhya senior superintendent of police, the initial investigation revealed that Munnu Paswan and his sons targeted the train in retaliation for the death of their goats.
Further questioning of the accused individuals is currently underway, as stated by Nayyar in a video statement.
