On June 25, 2023, a substantial disruption to railway operations was caused by a collision between two goods trains at the Onda railway station, located in Bankura, West Bengal. Diversions
In response to the incident, the authorities diverted three trains:
- 12816 (ANVT-PURI) EXP, which was rerouted via ADRA-CNI-TATA-HIJ
- 12949 (PBR-SRC) EXP, diverted via PRR-TATA-KGP
- 18628 (RNC-HWH), diverted via KSX-PRR-TATA-KGP
Short Terminations
Moreover, two trains experienced short terminations:
- 18004 (HWH-ADRA) Exp, scheduled for 25.06.2023, was short terminated at IBL
- 18085 (KGP-RNC), also scheduled for 25.06.2023, was short terminated at GSL and the rake returned to KGP
