Ducati, the Italian luxury motorcycle manufacturer, has launched its powerful bike Superleggera Panigale V4R in India. The bike is priced at ₹70 lakh and is equipped with a 998cc engine. This is the first time that the V4R engine has been introduced in India for sale. The bike conforms to BS6 norms and is equipped with DQS (Ducati Quick Shift) up/down EVO 2 gearbox.

The bike also comes with a titanium track-only full-system Akrapovič exhaust that provides 237 horsepower which can be further increased to 240 horsepower by using specially prepared engine oil.
The bike has a weight of 193 kilograms and features a PaniGale V4 aluminum front frame and manual suspension control. The bike also features Brembo-style brakes and forged aluminum wheels. The bike competes directly with the BMW S 1000 RR Pro M. The new PaniGale V4R comes with an updated track EVO display and an updated traction control system.
The CBU unit of the bike will be imported to India. The current price tag of the bike is due to the fact that it is imported. Ducati has already brought five units of the bike to India and more units will be imported after these are sold.
