The train will run six days a week and will cover 410 kilometers from New Jalpaiguri in Bengal to Guwahati in Assam, stopping at New Alipurduar, Kokrajhar, New Bongaigaon, and Kamakhya stations. The Vande Bharat Express will save people’s time, as the journey that previously took eight hours will now take only six hours. The train will also boost tourism in the region.
