DelhiDesk: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has made the transfer process completely online in an effort to curb corruption. The education department will be the first to adopt this process for around 3,000 teachers, with plans to implement it in other departments if successful. A four-member committee has been constituted for transfer-related work, headed by the Director of the Personnel Department. Any officer asking for money in the name of transfer-posting will face strict action. Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor has criticized the move, stating that only the Corporation Commissioner has the right to transfer posting in the Municipal Corporation.
