DelhiDesk The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is launching a program to train the youth of the state in 5G technology, with arrangements made for their employment as well. The state government believes that the telecom sector will require a lot more people with 5G technology in the future, which will be crucial for the implementation of other future technologies like M2M communication, IoT, and edge computing. The program will be implemented in phases, including training, pre-enrollment and post-enrollment counseling, monitoring and evaluation, placement support, mentoring, and support feedback. The proposed target is to train 1,000 or more candidates and provide them with jobs within eight months. Three courses will be conducted under this program, and an estimated Rs. 2.8 crore will be spent on them.
