The Delhi Drug Controller informed the Delhi High Court that the Gautam Gambhir Foundation, which is run by the BJP MP, had engaged in unauthorized distribution and stockpiling of the drug. Both Gambhir and Kumar have been found guilty under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, and the High Court has ordered the Drug Controller to take strict action against those who violate the act. The matter has been listed for further hearing on July 29. The case was brought to the court by a Public Interest Litigation filed by Deepak Kumar, seeking an FIR against Gambhir and others involved in the case.
