In September 2022, the country’s largest car maker Maruti Suzuki introduced its new Grand Vitara in the market. The company launched the Grand Vitara in the Indian market at an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 10.45 lakh. Maruti has now increased the prices of its mid-size SUV for the first time by up to Rs 30,000. Here’s a variant-wise price list for the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
It can be seen in the price list shared based on the variant that Maruti has increased the prices of its mid-size SUV by up to Rs 30,000. Accordingly, now the price of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara petrol variant is between Rs 10.70 lakh to Rs 16.91 lakh. Its bi-fuel CNG variant is now priced between Rs. 13.05 lakh and Rs. 14.86 lahks. On the other hand, the new Grand Vitara hybrid variant is priced between Rs 18.29 lakh to Rs 19.79 lakh. All prices mentioned in the list are ex-showroom.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara: Engine and gearbox
The updated 1.5-liter petrol engine has been given in Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. This engine has strong-hybrid technology, with which e-CVT has been added. Maruti’s Grand Vitara can choose a 1.5-liter mild-hybrid petrol engine. For transmission, there is an option to choose between 5-speed MT and 6-speed AT with this engine. The company also offers its mid-size SUV with a bi-fuel CNG option. Some variants of this SUV also come equipped with AWD (All-Wheel-Drive) features.
