Bids must be submitted by November 19, 2024, with openings scheduled for the same day. Bidders can propose for either the 500 MW or 200 MW project, with capacity bids in multiples of 100 MW. An earnest money deposit of ₹10.7 crore per 100 MW is required, and bidders need to reference an approved list of models and manufacturers from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).
Eligibility Criteria
Bidders must have commissioned solar projects totaling at least 30 MW in the past decade, with at least one project of 10 MW or greater operational for a minimum of three months prior to bidding. Additionally, they should have completed industrial projects worth ₹160 crore per 100 MW in sectors like power or petrochemicals.
Financial Information and Recent Activities
Eligible bidders should demonstrate an average annual turnover of ₹160 crore per 100 MW over the last three financial years, along with a positive net worth in two of those years. Recently, SGEL invited bids for 376.60 MW solar modules for the GUVNL (Phase-XIV) project and for leasing land for a 200 MW solar project in Assam.
