Action Against Illegal Constructions
- Survey and Penalties:
- Teams led by District Town Planner Enforcement (DTPE) Manish Yadav have been deployed to inspect licensed colonies and ongoing construction projects.
- Violations in residential colonies like DLF and Sushant Lok resulted in four fines of ₹25,000 each, as construction is currently banned under GRAP rules.
- Photographic evidence of ongoing construction was collected, and strict actions were initiated against violators.
- Sealing of Buildings:
- Three buildings in DLF Phase 3 were sealed for unauthorized commercial activities based on complaints received via the CM Window.
- Violations included gyms, guest houses, and illegal use of residential properties for commercial purposes.
- FIRs Against Owners:
- Under the Haryana Urban Development Act, 1975, such activities are prohibited. FIRs will be filed against the owners for flouting rules.
Action Against Polluting Vehicles
- Traffic Police Campaign:
- Vehicles older than 10 years (diesel) and 15 years (petrol) are being seized.
- Over the past four days, 19 old vehicles were impounded, and 2,537 fines were issued for violations, including:
- 532 BS-III petrol vehicles
- 1,467 BS-IV diesel vehicles
- Public Advisory:
- Authorities issued advisories urging citizens to follow pollution and traffic norms to avoid penalties.
