  • Speed and Duration:
    • The Vande Bharat Express will run at a speed of 130 km per hour.
    • It will cover the distance to Delhi in approximately 9 hours.
    • In comparison, other trains like Rajdhani, Sampoorna Kranti, and Tejas take around 13 hours to reach Delhi.


  • Route:
    • The train will travel through Ara, Buxar, and DDU (Deen Dayal Upadhyay) stations before reaching Delhi.
    • The Railway Board will soon release the official schedule and further details.

  • Executive Chair Car:
    • 1 coach with 52 seats.
  • Air-Conditioned Chair Car:
    • 7 coaches with a total of 478 seats.

Amrit Bharat Express to Connect Danapur and Bengaluru

Starting in July, the Amrit Bharat Express will begin operations between Danapur and Bengaluru, offering a faster travel option.

  • Reduced Travel Time:
    • The journey from Patna to Bengaluru currently takes 40-43 hours by regular trains.
    • The Amrit Bharat Express will reduce this time to approximately 20 hours.
  • Schedule:
    • The Railway Board will release the timetable 8 days before the commencement of operations.
